  Incoming Exchange Program
      Length of study
Our exchange students are required to enroll at KMUTT for a minimum of one semester. They are welcome to stay for up to one academic year.
      Tuition fee
Thanks to the agreement between KMUTT and your university, exchange students will not be required to pay for tuition and fees while studying at KMUTT.
      Academic record/ Transcripts
As per the Memorandum of Understanding between KMUTT and your university, upon completion of your exchange program, we will issue your transcript and send it to your university as proof of your enrollment.
If you are interested in being a member of our KMUTT community, you should

  • Be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at one of KMUTT’s partner universities.
  • Have successfully completed at least one year of academic study at your university.
  • Be proficient in English.
  • Have a strong interest in living in Thailand and are ready to accept cultural differences.

Required Documents

  • An official letter issued by your university.
  • One copy of KMUTT Application Form, with photograph (size: 1”)
  • Official transcript of academic records.
  • A copy of passport.
  • English language proficiency test results (if any) (waive for English native speakers)
  • A medical certificate
  • Additional relevant materials if required by the program you are applying to.

Application Steps

  1. Discuss your options with the officer in charge of exchange programs at your university.
  2. Find out or review the courses you may like to study during your time at KMUTT by searching from such KMUTT related website.
  3. Consult your advisor about course registration. This is to make sure that the courses taken at KMUTT can be accepted and transferred back to your university.
  4. Submit KMUTT Incoming Exchange Application Form, along with other required documents to your university.
  5. Your university will then submit the application package to KMUTT.
  6. If accepted, we will send your acceptance letter to your university.
  7. Use your acceptance letter to apply for the Non-Immigrant Education Visa at the nearest Thai Embassy or consulate.
  8. Fly to Bangkok. Welcome to KMUTT!
      Application Deadline

We ask you to submit your application materials to the staff in charge of exchange programs at your university not less than three months before the semester begins. This will allow our faculty members to fully review your application and for our staff to process all your paperwork. In addition, getting details sorted out early will be beneficial to you as you will not have to rush to obtain your student visa and this will allow you to book a plane ticket ahead of time.

  • Deadline for 1st semester: May 15th of the year.
  • Deadline for 2nd semester: October 15th of the year.
