  Admission Procedure
Prospective students interested in applying for KMUTT programs can apply online after they choose the type of program they are wishing to study. The following steps will show you what you need to know as well as what happens at each step along the way.
Stage One - Applying for a Place
        a)  Decide on the program(s) you wish to study and complete the online application.

- The online application for Thai citizens
          - The online application for International students
        b) Complete all relevant sections of the online application and attach certified copies of all academic transcripts and other required documents.
        c) Submit the completed online application.
        Note:

The online application which is available throughout the year, is arranged by the Admission Division, Tel: (66) 470-8146 Fax: (66) 470-8164 Email: admission@kmutt.ac.th www.kmutt.ac.th/admission

      Stage Two – Selection process
        d) The university will review your applications and announce for written examination date and interview examination date through www.kmutt.ac.th/admission. There are 3 main areas that we look at – standardized test results, your attitudes and performance, and physical examination. In addition, working experience for graduate level candidates may be on request.
Moreover, some programs will accept applications directly. They have set their own specific rules and requirements for admission according to their programs.

Stage Three - Wait for an announcement/ a response

        e)
The university will announce a list of successful applicants via www.kmutt.ac.th/admission by specific date and time.  Moreover, successful international applicants will receive a Letter of Acceptance which will be printed on the official letterhead of the university and signed by an officially authorized person from the University. The letter will provide information on the field of study, the name of school/ faculty, the duration of study, a certain commencing date and other important details. (If an application is unsuccessful, applicants will receive an explanatory letter.)

Stage Four - Payment of Fees

        f) In order to accept the offer of a place, bachelor’s degree candidates and some programs of master’s degree candidates are required to pay one semester's fee in advance. Once payment and all application documents have been received by the University, the candidates can check their place confirmation through www.kmutt.ac.th/admission.
Stage Five - Applying for a Student Visa [only for international students]
        g) With the Letter of Acceptance, a photocopy of your passport (which must be valid for at least 6 more months), recent passport-size photographs, and other required documents, you can apply for your student visa at a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in your country. Apparently, you should be granted a non-immigrant: education class or Non-ED, which is the right type of visa for study purpose
More details about the visa application, please visit www.mfa.go.th.
      Stage Six - Arranging accommodation
        h) The University strongly suggests that you should stay in KMUTT Dormitory (on-campus) or our network accommodation (off campus) for your convenience. It’s better to make a reservation dorm.kmutt@kmutt.ac.th before arrival.
Meanwhile, you may probably need to arrange temporary accommodation at KMUTT Guesthouse for you. You can book your room/place before your arrival.  icec@kmutt.ac.th. If you choose to do this, we recommend that you should arrive at KMUTT before the orientation session. This will help to give you enough time to 'house hunt' and settle down before your university life starts.
Stage Seven – Your first arrival [for international students only]
        i) Once you have arrived, you should go to the International Affairs (IA), the 6th floor, the Office of the President Building, Bangmod Campus as soon as you can. Alternatively, the university can provide an airport pick up upon request. IA Staff will be able to assist you with a necessary settle down, currency exchange, the Orientation Program, and where you should go for your enrolment session including open a bank account.

All international students are expected to participate in the University's Orientation Program which usually occurs at least two weeks before classes begin. The Orientation Program for newly arrived international students has been purposefully designed and included general information on enrolment, visa management, campus facilities, public transport, shopping, recreational activities, and other social functions.

      Stage Eight – Enrollment
        j) Regarding to the university’s rules, all new students have to enroll in order to confirm that they will study at KMUTT. This procedure is administered by the Registration and Evaluation Division and the Graduate Affairs for undergraduate level (bachelor’s degree) and graduate level (master’s and doctoral degree) respectively. You can get more information on undergraduate level or graduate level both from the website and, a registration and enrollment package provided by the university.
